About Bitroot
BitRoot

As a mathematician with extensive experience in research and consulting, I've build a career across several specialised domains. My work began developing high-stakes technical systems, then evolved into psychology where I completed my doctorate, and most recently led software teams at a technology consulting firm. Through this work, I reached a surprising conclusion: the core issue is not a lack of innovation or compassion. It is the flawed monetary system we all rely on. The good news is that Bitcoin offers a solution. Bitcoin may seem complex - something only tech experts can understand - but it is actually designed for everyone.

However, Bitcoin self-custody requires rigorous operational security. For example, a smartphone left nearby during a Bitcoin setup poses serious risks. Its motion sensors - the same chips that count steps - are sensitive enough to detect vibrations from typing on a keyboard nearby. Malicious software can analyse these shakes to reconstruct what you type, effectively turning the device into a hidden eavesdrop.

Owning Bitcoin safely requires a deep understanding of the setup procedure, the underlying technology, cybersecurity risks, and evolving threats. This is precisely why I offer my specialised services: to help you identify and neutralise these risks before they cause irreversible harm.

Mentoring Principles
  • I encourage people to share as little as possible about themselves. But if they choose to do so, I treat all information with the utmost confidentiality.

  • Not your keys, not your coins! This is the most important rule. I never ask for private keys or other private information.

  • I focus on teaching why and how things work. This includes educating on best practices and the core philosophy of Bitcoin.

  • I recognise that everyone is different. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, I offer solutions that meet each ones specific needs and technical comfort level.
